2-4 St.Stephen Sticker made a
great start to a first half which they dominated and it was Lee Harvey hit the
St.Stephen crossbar within in the first minute, which set the tone for the
majority of the match. Sticker continued to play well and against the run of the
game Kevin Grainger headed in to his own net. Sticker were unlucky not to score
as Luke Patton, Ray Clarke, Steve Webb and Lee Harvey were unlucky. Sticker again
started the second half well and Steve Webb after being set up by Chris Kitson
headed Sticker’s equaliser after 53 minutes. A minute later Webb repaid the
favour putting his strike partner Kitson through to score on his league debut
for Sticker. With 20 minutes to go a defensive mistake allowed Darren Davies to
cross for Mark Berryman to equalise. Two minutes later St.Stephen were given a
dubious penalty for hand ball and Neil Whetter slotted home and with ten minutes
to go Darren Davies sealed the win after another defensive mix-up. Team: Sticker
(4-4-2): Chris Dowrick, Ian Lee (Paul Robins), Gary Warren, Paul Trudgeon, Kevin
Grainger, Kevin Brokenshire, Luke Patton, Lee Harvey, Chris Kitson, Ray Clarke
(Gareth Denney) and Steve Webb. Torpoint
Athletic 3-0 Sticker Torpoint made
it three games without a win for Sticker, with a 3-0 for Torpoint when fitness
showed in the second half. With chances
few and far between in the first half Sticker’s Steve Webb came the closet to
scoring after 40 minutes but forced a good save from Torpoint ‘keeper Lee
Brown. Torpoint made
an impressive start to the second half when they hit the bar within the first
ten minutes. Paul May won Torpoint a dubious penalty after 75 minutes and
centre-half Mark Sotheran stepped to put the ball past Chris Dowrick. Five
minutes later 16 year old debutant Jamie Sebber beat the offside trap before
rounding the ‘keeper to make it 2-0 and five minutes from time Wayne Jago
sealed the win. Team: Sticker ( Sticker
3-5 Nanpean Sticker were
defeated in a lacklustre display against an equally weak Nanpean. After a slow
start Jerry Soloman who was free at the back post to give Nanpean a 1-0 lead.
After 20 minutes Sticker were starting to get back into their stride Richard
Crapp was unlucky when he hit the post. Luke Patton was unlucky not to score 10
minutes from the end of the first half but, Steve Webb was their to equalise for
Sticker. But, within a minute Jerry Soloman doubled his advantage to give
Nanpean the lead again. Sticker started
the second half well and within the first five minutes Richard Crapp was brought
down by Dan Lean and Kevin Brokenshire coolly slotted home the penalty. After 66
minutes Nanpean got back on top when Gareth Harris after a defensive mix up.
But, within two minutes Richard Crapp again equalised for Sticker. With 15
minutes remaining Gareth Harris again scored with a back post header and with 5
minutes remaining Harris sealed the win to complete his hat-trick. Sticker ( Nanpean
1-4 Sticker Sticker
reversed their embarrassing defeat on Wednesday night with a good 4-1 win over
Nanpean. Sticker started
well and Martin Bullock was unlucky to Sticker started
well and continued to dictate the game and Ray Clarke headed home Martin
Bullock’s corner to double his and Sticker’s advantage. Five minutes later
Martin Bullock continuing to cut in from the right made it three with a well
placed shot. Nanpean got back into the game when Jack Hunter who already hit the
bar and post chipped Chris Dowrick to lower the advantage. Sticker however
sealed the win five minutes from time when Steve Webb finished well. Sticker ( St.Dennis
2-1 Sticker St.Dennis
managed to nudge out Sticker to win by the odd goal in three, with a dubious
last minute penalty. Sticker
had most of the early runnings however a scrappy in swinging corner allowed
St.Dennis against the run of play to have the advantage after 10 minutes.
Sticker however continued to control the game and Martin Bullock, Steve Webb,
Chris Kitson and Ray Clarke all came close to equalising for Sticker. Sticker
again started the second half well and within the opening 20 minutes Steve
Webb’s shot was tipped on the post and Ray Clarke’s follow up was some how
cleared off the line. Sticker still in search of the equaliser had to wait until
10 minutes from time Bobblee Johns’ in swinging free-kick when straight in,
however it may have been forced into the goalkeeper. Sticker with their
equaliser in hand continued to play good football but, in search off an
equaliser were getting caught with the livewire partnership of Chris Brown and
Jamie Manuel and against the run of play in the dark of St.Dennis Andy Batt’s
challenge was adjusted to be illegal and cool as you like St.Dennis slotted home
the penalty to record their fourth win of the season. Sticker
(4-4-2): Chris Dowrick, Ian Lee (Richard Crapp), Andy Batt, Paul Trudgeon,
Bobbylee Johns, Martin Bullock, Gary Warren, Gareth Denney, Steve Webb, Ray
Clarke and Chris Kitson. Sticker
1-2 Wadebridge Sticker
were again unlucky not to manage their second win of the season as the rub of
the green was certainly with Wadebridge. Sticker
started well and within the opening five minutes a good move was finished off
when Paul Robin’s excellent cross was headed home by Ray Clarke. Wadebridge
kept on pushing in the second half to try and get an equaliser and the
breakthrough finally came in the 40th minute when Charlie Bastock and Lee
Batemen fashioning a scrappy goal for Nick Daley. Sticker
started the second half well and Luke Patton was unlucky within the opening 10
minutes when he had an effort cleared off the line. Ray Clarke had what looked a
perfectly good goal disallowed because of an offside infringement. However, it
was Wadebridge who against the run of play it was Bateman who scored the
visitors second midway through the second half. The home side continued to push
and push and had two good shouts for handball turned down but Ray Clarke and
others couldn’t find the equaliser Sticker deserved. Sticker
(4-4-2): Chris Dowrick, Luke Patton, Gary Warren, Kevin Grainger, Bobbylee
Johns, Kevin Brokenshire, Kristian Walters, Steve Webb, Paul Robins (Paul
Marshall), Chris Kitson and Ray Clarke. Biscovey
5-4 Sticker Biscovey
came out on top in a real nine goal thriller against a Sticker side who tired
towards the end as they conceded all five goals in the last 17 minutes. Sticker
again started well and Steve Webb and Chris Kitson both will be made to rue
early missed chances. Sticker finally got the breakthrough when Paul
Trudgeon’s excellent ball found Steve Webb who squared it for Chris Kitson to
tap home Sticker’s first. The
second started with end to end stuff with Biscovey’s experienced defensive
line up of Evans, Lobb and Johns under the constant threat of a rejuvenated
Chris Kitson and Ray Clarke. Sticker doubled their lead when good work from
Gareth Denney and Chris Kitson left Ray Clarke to tap home and within two
minutes Sticker looked to have sewn the game up when Kitson showed his real
class when he chipped the Biscovey ‘keeper from 20 yards out after 70 minutes.
However Sticker’s three goal advantage didn’t last long against a Biscovey
onslaught Steve Webb was unlucky as a deflected shot from Dale Isbell left Chris
Dowrick with no chance just a minute after and two minutes later Nick Isbell
finish at the back post made it 3-2 with a quarter of an hour remaining.
Biscovey nearly made it three goals in four minutes when Simon Johnson’s
excellent free-kick struck the outside of Dowrick’s left hand post. However
the Bisc faithful as vocal as ever led by their inspirational chairman didn’t
have to wait long as within three minutes Johnson was left free to tap in for
three. However Biscovey didn’t have to much at that point to shout about and
with some very iffy refereeing decisions to never really looked like he knew
what he was doing, when Chris Kitson beat two men before hammering the ball past
Bisc for his hat-trick, the goal which created a mass celebration down on the
Sticker bench, it didn’t last long, not even a minute later Ford put a goal
scramble home and the final goal came in injury time when Simon Johnson’s
free-kick was headed home in injury time by captain Jay Isbell who was left with
the simple task of a free header into Dowrick’s net. Sticker:
(4-4-2): Chris Dowrick, Ian Lee, Andy Batt, Paul Trudgeon, Kevin Grainger,
Richard Crapp (Martin Bullock), Gary Warren, Gareth Denney, Steve Webb, Ray
Clarke (Kevin Brokenshire) and Chris Kitson. Sticker
3-4 Liskeard Athletic It
was Sticker again who took the game to the holding champions but, again were
unlucky not to come out with at least a point against their experienced
visitors. Liskeard
started the game well and went deservedly in front after 8 minutes when Johnny
Rylatt showed his power before hammering the ball past ‘keeper Chris Dowrick.
Sticker to their credit continued to battle hard and Chris Kitson was unlucky
when his good effort was pushed on to the bar by the Liskeard ‘keeper after 10
minutes. Liskeard came back and Johnny Rylatt was there to double his and
Liskeard’s advantage after 17 minutes and it was three when Neil Webber added
to the total after his effort was turned over in a patchy faction after 25
minutes. Sticker who continued to defend well and also saw Richard Crapp come
off after being brought down by Liskeard defenders and in first half injury time
good work from substitute Martin Bullock and Steve Webb put Ray Clarke through
to cheekily chip the ‘keeper from 20 yards out. Sticker
were slow out of the blocks in the second half and after beating two Sticker men
Johnny Rylatt’s powerful shot made it four and his hat-trick however, their
lead was reduced to two when Chris Kitson beat two men before finishing well
five minutes later. Ten minutes later Clarke added his 6th goal of the season
after the impressive Steve Webb beat two men before squaring to Clarke, who
hammered the ball into the top right hand corner. Sticker continued to push and
Steve Webb, Chris Kitson and Gary Warren all went close to grabbing the
equaliser, but, Sticker were again not getting the rub of the green were unlucky
to loose, in a game their should have taken at least a point from. Sticker

2-2 Launceston In
a scrappy first half it was Launceston who had the first chance when Chris
Dowrick was forced to pull out a good save after quarter of an hour. However, it
didn’t take Launceston long as ten minutes later a dubious free-kick decision
and Steve Greenway put the clarets one goal to the good. Sticker who still
couldn’t start playing the football they had been creating in the last few
weeks however, against the run of play Sticker equalised, Richard Crapp beat two
men to get to the by-line and pull back for the impressive Chris Kitson score
for Sticker after 35 minutes. However, it didn’t last long for Sticker as
within a minute Dan Tiley’s long range effort some how found it’s way to the
net. Early
in the second half Sticker started well the excellent Bryn Sundercombe found
Chris Kitson nearly scored but, for the good save from Josh Colwill. Sticker who
changed their formation were playing the football and starting to boss the game
and after 6 minutes they got what they deserved when Richard Crapp, who was
excellent in a central role in the second half beat three men and used his pace
to get to the by-line and pulled the back for Chris Kitson to score his 6th goal
in the last three games. Ten minutes later thought that their pressured paid off
after Martin Bullock got to the by-line and crossed for Ray Clarke to score
however, the ball was adjudged to have gone over the line and within two minutes
Richard Crapp beat two men before hitting the cross bar. Sticker continued to
play well and Chris Kitson who was clear through on goal was fowled however no
card was shown. Sticker continued to push and Bobbylee Johns and Bryn
Sundercombe were unlucky not to get their third goal for Sticker. Sticker

0-2 Saltash In a match whom
Sticker would have felt they did enough to win the game, however Chris Dowrick
made a good save from Saltash striker Gareth Jones after 20 minutes. However
Sticker who had already had some chances continued to create and with Richard
Crapp playing a one-two with Chris Kitson and his cross was just two heavy for
Ray Clarke to score for Sticker. But, it was Saltash who took the lead and in
scrappy fashion Gareth Jones put the Ashes 1 up after 35 minutes. Sticker who had
most of the play of the first half continued with that and with Daniel
Nancarrow’s in swinging corners causing trouble and Martin Bullock shot
just over just before the hour. Within the next five minutes, Chris Kitson was
so unlucky not to score when his great effort hit the underside of the crossbar
and came back out. Ten minutes later bombing on from left back Bobbylee
Johns’s swinging effort hit the post and Sticker’s luck was juts not in when
Justin Williams, against the run of play chipped Sticker ‘keeper Chris Dowrick
with ten minutes to go. Sticker rallied around but, Gary Warren, Richard Crapp,
Ray Clarke, Chris Kitson and Daniel Nancarrow just couldn’t finish the move
and Sticker failed to score for the first game in eight in a row. Sticker:
(4-4-2): Chris Dowrick, Ian Lee (Kevin Toms), Andy Batt, Paul Trudgeon, Bobbylee

1-1 Torpoint (After Extra Time) Sticker were
looking for that all important win, and with the introduction of new signing
Richard Ivers at right back they were sure they could get it against high flying
Torpoint, just off a 6-0 win over Roche. With the returning Steve Webb in
midfield, we also saw Tony Nancarrow in goal with regular ‘keeper Chris
Dowrick, away with the county youth. Sticker with
the mass wind on their side started the best in the first half carving out a
number of opportunities with Ray Clarke and Chris Kitson going close in
particular. Needless to say, against the run of play it was Torpoint who took
the lead mid-way through the second half. With Darren Shepard who was at the
back post to head home past Nancarrow after the winger was allowed to turn at
the edge of the Sticker box. Sticker continued to play some good football but
couldn’t find that goal. Nevertheless,
it didn’t take Sticker long into the second half to score, just three minutes
into the second half some good work down the right between messes Crapp and
Ivers allowed the latter to cross for Chris Kitson to equalise for Sticker and
score his 8th of the season. Torpoint had the majority of the play in the latter
stages of the second half; however they were always deceptive to a quick counter
attack from the likes of Kitson, Crapp, Ivers, Johns, Sundercombe, Clarke and
Kitson, and with Nancarrow and Webb pulling the strings from the middle of the
park. It took until
the last minute of the second half for Torpoint to create a real goalscoring
opportunity when Kevin Francis, (who must have been desperate to watch The first half
was pretty eventless with both sides looking tired however, away substitute Matt
Barton having the best chance after he forced an excellent save from Nancarrow,
who seemed to be coping with the game very well. So, to the
second half, again with chances few and far between it was Sticker who had the
best of them when Richard Crapp made a great run pulled it back for Chris Kitson
who forced a good save from Lee Brown in the Torpoint goal. Both teams wanted to
win the game and substitute Martin Bullock, Daniel Nancarrow and Steve Webb all
going close for Sticker. In the end both teams have to settle for a replay with
what is sure to be a great cup game. Sticker
(4-4-2): Tony Nancarrow, Richard Ivers, Andy Batt, Paul Trudgeon, Bobbylee

3-3 Sticker On a bumpy, wet
cow field like pitch, Sticker started the brighter and had the ball in the net
after good work from Brokenshire and Kitson allowed Webb to steal in at the far
post only for his effort to be ruled out for offside. Aggy then took the lead
against the run of play after good work down the right left a simple tap in for
one of their players in the centre. Sticker ( Sticker
1-4 St.Agnes Sticker
ambitions of going to St.Blazey in the second round of the Senior Cup were
dashed by the visiting St.Agnes. After a 3-3 draw the week before it saw the
replay taking preference over a much needed league game for Sticker. With the
majority of players, from both sides admitting that Sticker were robbed the week
before, it was a similar start. Sticker started well, however, it was Tom
Osbourne, who reacted the quickest after Chris Dowrick saved well from a
St.Agnes corner, to give Aggie the lead against the run of play. Chris Kitson
went close later just failing to chip St.Agnes 'keeper Simon Winnan. Richard
Crapp also had an effort cleared off the line . However, Sticker came back on
level terms when after a great run from Richard Crapp, he crossed to allow Ray
Clarke, to tap home for his 8th goal of the season. Into the second
half, Ray Clarke headed just over from a good early cross from Bryn Sundercombe
early in the second half. However, after Justin Andrews had just shot wide
St.Agnes's pressure paid off when Tom Bennetts shot into the top corner of
Dowrick's goal with 15 minutes remaining. Two minutes later after loosing his
marker Justin Andrews turned before making it three and got his second two
minutes later after Dowrick's good save was palmed into the St.Agnes's skipper's
path and he shot home the fourth. The game was dead and it will be St.Agnes who
will challenge St.Blazey next Saturday in the Cornwall Senior Cup 2nd Round. Sticker

3-2 Sticker Sticker will
feel hard done with their battling second half performance almost deserving at
least a point. However, it was the home side who started bright and when Gary
Warren was adjusted to pass the ball back to Chris Dowrick. The resulting pick
up resulted in an indirect free-kick to Bodmin. An chance which left Darren
Roose able to just squeeze Bodmin into a 1-0 lead within the opening two
minutes. Sticker now looked like coming into the game a great run from Richard
Crapp resulted in what many believed was being brought down by Bodmin goalkeeper
Dave Philp to stop what seemed to be a clear goal scoring opportunity. With
Bodmin trying to get the second goal Dowrick was forced to make a good save from
Roose as he turned the ball behind for a corner. 15 minutes in and a Richard
Crapp free-kick whipped into the back post was headed well by Ray Clarke who was
unlucky to see his effort cleared off the line by a Bodmin defender. However,
Bodmin and Roose doubled their advantage just before the half hour when Roose
again slotting the ball past a helpless 'Dowrick. The second half
saw a change of formation. With Andy Batt coming off injured just before half
time. Rowett and Burt decided to revert to a Sticker ( Torpoint
Athletic 4-1 Sticker Torpoint
deserved their place in the 2nd round of the Cornish Guardian East Cornwall
Premier League Cup with a well deserved 4-1 win over visiting Sticker. However,
it was the visitors who started the brightest and early on Chris Hunkin tested
Torpoint 'keeper Lee Brown. Sticker continued to defend well as Torpoint also
missed some real chances. Nevertheless, it was Sticker who took the lead and
after 15 minutes, Chris Kitson beat the offside trap with a lovely through ball
by Paul Marshall and Kitson dually finished for his 10th goal of the season. Into the second
half and it seemed to be the same way with Torpoint missing good chances however
a defensive mix-up allowed the Torpoint striker to head home. Sticker, though
continued to play good football and Ray Clarke was unlucky to see his header
cleared off the line soon after the equaliser. Just over 10 minutes into the
second half a well worked Torpoint move allowed Derek Cox to tap Torpoint into
the lead. With 20 minutes remaining Derek Cox got his second to put Torpoint
into a 3-1 lead and two minutes Paul Marshall was unlucky when a shot deflected
off him and past Sticker 'keeper Chris Dowrick. Sticker ( Saturday

1-2 Probus Sticker started
well and early on Chris Kitson shot just over. However, against the run of play
Mike Dodd tapped home for Probus after 20 minutes, and ten minutes later Dave
Celia chipped Sticker 'keeper from 12 yards out. Sticker however
decided that they needed to battle more in the second half and that is what
happened early on Chris Kitson had his good shot saved, Steve Webb also shot
just over. Sticker thought that they had pulled the goal back when Chris Kitson
tapped home however, his goal was disallowed for offside and the breakthrough
for Sticker finally came with 10 minutes remaining when Steve Webb finished off
a good Sticker move for just his 2nd goal of the season. Sticker pushed and
pushed but, couldn't find that all important easier so the away side stole all
three points. With Sticker chasing the game Barry Andrew was sent off for being

2-2 St.Dennis Although
St.Dennis had the majority of the possession it was Sticker who showed their
real ability and Chris Kitson was unlucky not to score after 10 minutes However,
Sticker got their breakthrough when the combination of Paul Marshall and Steve
Webb created the opportunity which was dully snapped up by Chris Kitson to score
his 11th goal of the season after 18 minutes. Sticker continued to defend well
and ten minutes before the break and a carbon copy of the first goal came when
Jeremy Pascoe put Steve Webb in behind the St.Dennis back line he squared this
time for Ray Clarke to hammer home his 9th of the season. However,
it was St.Dennis who showed great bouncebackability with a great start to the
second half Carl Paull, adjudged to have handled on his way to goal hammered the
ball past Sticker 'keeper Chris Dowrick, and within a minute Richard Hawke's
deflected shot found it's way into the back of the net just 10 minutes into the
second half. Both sides had chances but neither side could convert Paul Trudgeon
and Kevin Grainger in particular went close for Sticker, all in all a fair
result for both sides. Sticker ( Sticker
0-4 Foxhole Sticker made a
good start and it seemed as if they had the unbeaten title challengers rattled,
centre-half Paul Trudgeon in particular went close. However, against the run of
play a Jason Warne free-kick (picked up for a needless foul on Mike Body) was
crossed in and Richard Griffin headed home after 15 minutes. Sticker again
started the second half well and Daniel Nancarrow headed just over from a Lee
Harvey ball within the first minute. Sticker with 'keeper Chris Dowrick in
particular good form defended well against Foxhole in the second half who for
the majority played possession football. Richard Griffin had two clear chances
to grab his hat-trick before quarter of an hour before time a brilliant ball
from Phil Dingle found Body and the Foxes top scorer emphatically beat Chris
Dowrick, to maintain Foxhole's unbeaten start to the season. Sticker

1-5 Bodmin Sticker made a
good start and it seemed as if they had the top of the table side rattled, with
midfielder Steve Webb and Bodmin centre half Kev Kingdom exchanging chances and
it was Sticker who had made the early runnings who went ahead when striker Chris
Kitson chipped goalkeeper Dave Philp from 20 yards after 20 minutes to record
his 12th goal of the season. Sticker continued to defend well and
they were unlucky to concede when Steve Cloke slipped the ball past Chris
Dowrick after beating two players. The excellent Kevin Brokenshire went close
just before half time and nearly put Sticker back in front. Bodmin
continued to attack and were rewarded with their efforts 15 minutes in when
after a dubious penalty decision allowed Gareth Nicholson to put Bodmin in
front. Within a minute, Chris Hoskin grabbed the third as Sticker pushed that
self-destruct button, with the Bodmin confidence on a high further goals were
scored by Gareth Nicholson and Chris Hoskin. Sticker

6-2 Biscovey New year,
change of luck is surely what Sticker will be thinking after thumping visiting
Biscovey 6-2. However, it was Biscovey who took the lead when within the opening
two minutes Simon Johnson cooly slotted home a penalty. Sticker after a slow
start started to play some good football and were rewarded after half an hour
when a good ball from Jeremy Pascoe allowed Chris Kitson to turn and shoot for
Sticker's equaliser and within two minutes Ray Clarke placed his effort into the
bottom right hand corner. Sticker were unlucky not to get three after 37 minutes
when after beating two defenders and the goalkeeper Steve Webb could not beat
Andy Johns who managed to clear the ball of the line. From the resulting corner
Ray Clarke headed home to make it three. Clarke, then thought he had his
hat-trick with three minutes of the half remaining however his goal was ruled
out for offside, he then put Chris Kitson through who scored his 14th goal of
the season, to make it four just before half time. Sticker again
started slow and allowed Biscovey's foreign import Jose to pull one back and
after defending stubbornly throughout the second half Sticker nearly made it
five when a great passing move nearly allowed Steve Webb to grab a goal. Late
on, Richard Crapp hit both posts and Bobbylee Johns was denied by both his poor
finishing and a great save from Martin Quantick. Sticker rapped the game up in
the final seconds when a burst form the back allowed sweeper Jeremy Pascoe to
score his first for the season and Kevin Grainger hammered home to complete the
rout. Sticker

4-3 St.Cleer Sticker made it
two in two games to come of the bottom of the table after Nanpean were defeated
3-0 by Wadebridge and it was the home side who started the brightest when after
5 minutes Ray Clarke was unlucky when his effort hit the bar, and within a
minute Steve Webb beat the St.Cleer defence after being put through by Daniel
Nancarrow, and he slid the ball past the St.Cleer ‘keeper. Sticker still on
top, squandered many chances, in particular Bobbylee Johns, Chris Kitson and
Steve Webb who hit the St.Cleer post. Against the run of play St.Cleer equalized
after 37 minutes when fresh off a hat-trick against Callington, the quicksilver
Colin Wilson chipped Chris Dowrick from 20 yards out. He also put St.Cleer in
front just before half time when he finished off a good move by the visitors. Sticker again
started the second half well and within the opening 5 minutes, a good cross from
Chris Kitson allowed Ray Clarke to head home for Sticker, and 5 minutes later
after Steve Webb had gone close Lee Harvey’s excellent cross was volleyed home
by Clarke to record his 13th goal of the season. It was 10 minutes
later after just going close for Sticker, Chris Kitson beat two men before
slotting the ball home to give Sticker a two goal advantage. However, just two
minutes later Sticker

4-2 Sticker Sticker made a
good start missing Kevin Brokenshire, captain Jeremy Pascoe and Chris Kitson. It
was stand in captain Daniel Nancarrow who set up Ray Clarke, fresh off 4 goals
in the last two games who tested Wadebridge 'keeper Jimmy Vernon early on. It
was the visitors who went ahead with the influential Daniel Nancarrow who took
the ball from the half way line on a counter-attack (after being set up by Lee
Harvey) and slid the ball past Vernon after 20 minutes. Sticker still
controlling the game thus far doubled their lead 12 minutes later when Sticker again
started the second half well and were unlucky to loose Paul Trudgeon to an
injury early on. However, a very dubious penalty was given and Jamie Selwood
slotted home the resulting. With some very risky refereeing decisions for both
sides still in the happening. Sticker saw two further players Lee Harvey and
Barry Andrew also having to limp off with injures, and it was the battling home
side got their equaliser with 10 minutes to go when Charlie Bastock put through
Mike Retter who finished nicely and just moments later Retter lost his marker

beat Dowrick in the final seconds. Sticker ( Sticker
5-1 Padstow Sticker
continued their great start to 2005 with their 3 win in 4, to rise four places

the game well and within five minutes saw Steve Webb's shot well saved and
Daniel Nancarrow have a goal disallowed. However, the kept plugging away against
in-form 'keeper Chris May and the breakthrough finally cam in the 35th minute
when a great move involving Gary Warren and Lee Harvey was finished off by Ray
Clarke, to record his 14th goal of the season. Sticker again
started brightly and with some excellent football on the way, they were quickly
on their way to winning the game. The home side doubled their lead in the 55th
minute, when after being found by Daniel Nancarrow's probing pass, Steve Webb
shot past May, in the Padstow goal. Sticker continued the football, and after
coming on as a sub, Chris Kitson scored with basically his first chance, when
his well placed shot found it's way into the back of the net. Two minutes later
in the 65th, Kristian Waters made it two goals in as many games when he headed
home Richard Crapp's in-swinging corner. Sticker completed their rout when 3
minutes from time, Chris Kitson finished brilliantly to record his 17th goal of

2-1 Callington Sticker won
again this week, all though not as convincing in weeks gone by, they recorded
their fourth win in the last five games. Sticker had the
majority of both play and pressure in the first half, however, they were unable
to create any real goal scoring opportunities. Defending doggedly Callington
restricted Sticker to long range efforts from Steve Webb, Daniel Nancarrow and
Bobbylee Johns although, not creating much themselves. Sticker
continued to keep much of the ball and after a great save from Chris Dowrick,
Dave Ball scored from the rebound to give Callington the lead after 55 minutes,
against the run of play. Sticker pushed and pushed for the equaliser and
the pressure finely told when after 70 minutes after being put through by Daniel
Nancarrow, Lee Harvey scored emphatically, Sticker continued to push and with
ten minutes on the clock remaining Bobbylee Johns put Nancarrow through to earn
Sticker a well fought out win. Sticker ( Dobwalls
2-0 Sticker Sticker were
unlucky to loose only their second game of the new year. Against a high flying
third place Dobwalls who managed two late goals from Adie Walton. Sticker were
without top scorer Chris Kitson, Bobbylee Johns and Paul Trudgeon all with the
flu and that allowed new signing Phil Dingle to make his debut. The first half
was pretty eventless, with not many chances at all. Adie Walton went closest for
Dobwalls when he challenged Sticker goalkeeper Chris Dowrick, to make a good
save and Ray Clarke had the best chance for Sticker as he headed just wide, when
it seemed harder to miss than score. Sticker
continued to defend stubbornly in the second half and after creating chances Ray
Clarke, hit the Dobwall's upright with his effort with 15 minutes to go.
However, it was Dobwalls who took the lead against the run of play when Adie
Walton, free in the box, was allowed to tap home with a little under 5 minutes
to go. With Sticker pushing for an equaliser Dobwalls, finished the match when
Walton drove home for his second goal from 20 yards out in the final minute. Sticker

and Daniel Nancarrow. Callington
1-2 Sticker Sticker battled
through a boggy pitch to record a second win, in three games against Callington. It was the away
side who started the better, when after just 10 minutes, a good team move
resulted in Steve Webb failing to put Sticker 1-0 up. The first half, didn't
allow for many real chances, although Lee Harvey shot just over for Sticker,
from a well worked corner. At the
beginning of the second half, the game finally began to fizz, and the home side
took the lead after Trevor Griffith's free-kick when it found it's way past
Chris Dowrick, on the hour mark. The goal kicked Sticker into life, and with
corners being a threat all game for Sticker Steve Webb, fumbled home the
equailser, for his 7th of the season; after Phil Dingle had put the ball back
into the danger area. Sticker continued to play well and eight minutes later,
with just five minutes remaining, skipper Jeremy Pascoe's thirty yard drive
zipped into the top corner of Callington's net, to make sure of all three points
for the away side. The goal caused mass celebration on the Sticker bench which
lead to Sticker manager Glyn Rowett punching the roof of the dugout. Sticker
(3-5-2): Chris Dowrick, Jeremy Pascoe, Phil Dingle, Andy Batt, Kevin
Brokenshire (Ryan Orchard), Lee Harvey (Gareth Denney), Gary Warren, Bobbylee
Johns, Steve Webb, Racy Clarke (Chris Kitson) and Daniel Nancarrow. Bude
0-2 Sticker Sticker made it
two wins in the last two games at bottom club Bude, who now haven't won in the
last eight. The long journey from Sticker seemed to affect the visitors, who
started the game slowly. However, they took the lead; 15 minutes into the first
half when Steve Webb tapped home, for his second goal in as many games, from a
Daniel Nancarrow in-swinging corner which was dropped by the Bude 'keeper. The
goal forced Bude to come out to try and force an equaliser but the Sticker
defence of Pascoe, Batt and Dingle held strong. With 'keeper Chris Dowrick
pulling of a few good saves in the process. The second
half, didn't change the way in which the first half was played. Bude continued
to battle hard for the equaliser. The bumpy pitch did not allow Sticker to play
their normal standard of football and frustrated players with passes going
astray. Sticker earnt their winner midway through the second half, again coming
from a Nancarrow corner when Gary Warren volleyed home his second of the season.
Bude again went on the attack looking to force their way back into proceedings
and in reply Sticker's Nancarrow, Webb, Pascoe and Brokenshire were all unlucky
not to score on the counter attack. Sticker put on their central defender Paul
Trudgeon making his return from illness and effectively closed up the game to
record their first clean sheet of the season with a great defensive performance,
marshaled by Phil Dingle earning all three points and rising three places in the
league. Sticker ( Camelford
2-2 Sticker Sticker made it
three games unbeaten with a highly regarded 2-2 draw at Camelford, surely one of
the toughest places to go in the ECPL. Sticker again
were affected by the long journey and it showed early on when after just three
minutes Phil Northcott's perfectly placed long rage effort gave Sticker's Chris
Dowrick no chance. Camelford had the majority of the play, playing down the
slope in the first half, however Sticker stood strong and made sure that
Camelford failed to capatlise on their possession. As well as seeing Steve Webb,
going close for an equaliser against the run of play for Sticker. The change
around clearly made a difference to Sticker, now playing down hill they created
a lot more chances than in the first half, really taking the game to the home
side, the pressure finally paid off with 15 minutes remaining substitute Ray
Clarke, crossed for Daniel Nancarrow to head home. Sticker continuing to create
chances, and saw Gary Warren go close before they made it 5 goals out of the
last 6 all coming from corners. When Bobbylee Johns in-swinging corner was
headed home by Chris Kitson for his 18th goal of the season. Sticker continued
looking to extended their advantage to two goals and Kitson went close to making
it three for Sticker, before with just 3 minutes remaining Andy Batt's
unfortunate slip allowed Daniel Putt to put the quicksilver forward Darren Fryer
through who expertly equalised with an angled shot. Sticker ( Saltash
1-1 Sticker Sticker
continued their good form from 2005 as they recorded a second successive draw
against highly placed Saltash, at the Kimberley Stadium. Sticker
unlike their last two games, managed to start the game well. They played some
very attractive football in the first 25 minutes, and Daniel Nancarrow’s
probing pass allowed Chris Kitson to tap home unmarked for his 19th goal of the
season, after just six minutes. Sticker who had seen Chris Dowrick pull of a
brilliant save at one half; saw centre-half Phil Dingle rattle the Saltash
crossbar with just 5 minutes to go before half time. Sticker
continued to play some good football in the second half, however, Saltash
growing in confidence pulled back an equaliser when veteran Malcolm Willis burst
through before slotting the ball past Chris Dowrick, with 10 minutes remaining.
In the latter stages, both sides went looking for the winner and after Kristian
Waters nearly headed home. Daniel Nancarrow’s corner in last minute allowed
Ray Clarke to head against the Saltash bar. Sticker

2-2 Torpoint Sticker
made it five games unbeaten, as they lost a 2-0 lead to 7th placed
Torpoint, to draw their third successive game. Sticker
playing with the wind in the first half, had the majority of the play and with
the combination of missed chances and finding Torpoint skipper Lee Brown in top
form meant they only went in 2-0 up at the break. The first came moments after
Steve Webb forced a good save from Brown and Webb, after just 15 minutes beat
two men before driving the ball past Brown. The second came after Daniel
Nancarrow had missed a guilt edged chance for Sticker, with just 3 minutes
remaining in the first half, Chris Kitson rounded Brown to record his 20th
goal of the season, after being put through by Nancarrow. Torpoint
were the team with the wind, and it is seemed as if it made the difference, and
after failing to clear the ball, John Sebbar brought the visitors back into the
game, and found the equalizer with 15 minutes remaining Wayne Mabin headed home
from a corner. Both sides pushed for the winner and it was both sides top
scorers Chris Kitson and Matt Barton went close. Sticker

1-0 Bude Sticker
gained the double over Bude who looked a much better organised side, and which
helped make it six games without defeat. The home side were without 3 central
defenders so had to reorganise the side. With wind assistance Bude started
lively but never really threatened the Sticker goal and it was Sticker who
created the better chances with Kitson heading from close range from a Phil
Dingle cross on 30 minutes only to be denied by the impressive goalkeeper
Ben Pescell . Then on 40 minutes Lee Harvey had a great strike from a Steve Webb
cross from the left. With Webb enjoying plenty of ball again hit the bi-line and
delivered a long cross to Ray Clarke who headed on for Kitson to be denied yet
again by the keeper. In
the second half Sticker dominated with the wind behind them but with the keeper
in fine form Sticker looked liked it was going to be one of those days when they
just couldn’t score after Nancarrow hit the post from close range, Harvey put
Webb in on goal only to hit the side netting and Nancarrow bringing off another
save from the Keeper. The save of the game came from good work from Sticker with
Brokenshire bringing off a tremendous save from Pescell at close range. Bude
defended well but found it difficult to get the ball out of their half. The
improving In
the closing minutes Bude began to make some headway and the lively Danny Balsdon
lost his marker and shot well only to be denied by Dowrick. Sticker certainly
deserved the 3 points and it was pleasing for the make shift defence to keep a
clean sheet. Sticker

0-1 Camelford Sticker
were defeated for the first time in six games, as they failed to score for only
the fifth time of the season. In failing to overcome a determined Camelford. It
was plain to see to any individual that Sticker controlled the possession for
the majority of the ninety minutes, however, when it came to turning possession
into goals it became a different matter for Rowett's men. Rowett before the game
decided to chop and change his starting line-up with Gary Warren, being given a
much needed rest and both Kevin Brokenshire and Bobbylee Johns just missing out
on the starting line up. Sticker started the game reasonably well with Nancarrow
testing the goalkeeper from distance twice. Although, it was the visitors with
their first real move into their opponents half who took the lead. When with
just eight minutes gone, Stuart Bowndy's marvelous 30 yard strike found it's way
past Dowrick; in fairness not many goalkeepers in Sticker
continued to keep possession after the goal, however chances looked few and far
between as Camelford packed their defensive rearguard. Chris Kitson, came closet
in the first half when he latched on to a Ray Clarke flick on only to shoot
wide. Sticker still trying to create chances saw their in-form 'keeper Chris
Dowrick pull of a stunning save from Cliff Willis, who wriggled away from his
marker Andy Batt, moments before half time. Sticker
seemed to look more positively after the break playing some good football
outside the box, nevertheless, when the ball was in and around the penalty area,
the previously free-scoring home side looked clueless. Sticker's Rowett and Burt
changed it round frantically late on trying to force home an equaliser but only
substitute Bobbylee John's cross allowed Richard Triggs to get in behind the
Camelford defence, but again he shot wide. In the end it seemed as if Sticker,
the home side were as convincing in front of goal, as Gary Neville in an Sticker

0-0 Roche Sticker
picked up only a point against local rivals Roche, as they failed to score, for
the second game in a row. Another
defensive re-shuffle was needed with Phil Dingle away on holiday, and Paul
Trudgeon still out with injury. Bobbylee Johns and Jeremy Pascoe came into the
defensive rear-guard. Roche,
who had the wind, had the majority of the play in a bitty first half. Even
having to withstand heavy pressure, Sticker always looked a threat on the
counter-attack and midway through the first half, Chris Kitson’s shot just
wide after stretching for the ball. Sticker, remained strong, a looked happy to
go in 0-0 at the break. The
second half proved much improved for Sticker and with Lee Harvey and Ray Clarke
both going close very early on, Sticker showed their proposal for the second
half. Sticker continued to create chances but somehow couldn’t find the goal.
Midway through the second half Kitson was unlucky again when he saw his effort
cleared of the line. Sticker

2-2 Sticker Sticker,
drew again this week for the second game in succession again against local
rivals Roche. It was the home side who started the brightest and with just two
minutes gone, player-manager Richard Ralph's 20 yard drive somehow found it's
way past Chris Dowrick, to be fair it seemed as if Dowrick slipped. Sticker
finally got in their stride and throughout the first halves had little passages
where they played some of their best football of the season, and it paid off
when in the 15th minutes Daniel Nancarrow, who was a constant threat to Roche's
centre-halves Martin Gale and Bradley Ralph, got in behind and shot past Garry
Penhaligon with an angled drive. Sticker
again started the second half slowly, but, got back into the grove and after 12
minutes, Chris Kitson brought a good save from Penhaligon, playing some
attractive football just three minutes later; the visitors got their second.
When Chris Kitson chased a lost cause he managed to square it back for the
free-running Kristian Waters who slid home the second for Sticker. However,
Roche rallied around and with a little over 10 minutes remaining, Sticker
defending a corner failed to clear and Roche forced home the equailser. Both
sides looked for the winner, Rowett sent on Clarke to give some aerial
advantage, however, Nancarrow, Kitson and Whieldon all went close to winning it
for the away side, they had to settle for their second consecutive point. Sticker

4-0 Dobwalls Sticker
earnt their first win in the last five, with a brilliant 4-0 hammering of third
placed Dobwalls, in their final home game of the season. With manager Glyn
Rowett on holiday, assistant manager Steve Burt took charge. However, they
managed to beat the visitors with just the bare eleven. Sticker
made a good start after Dobwall’s Adie Walton shot just wide in the opening
seconds. However, it was the home side who took the lead when after just 5
minutes; Kevin Brokenshire’s cross was headed home by Chris Kitson, who rose
like a salmon, to score for the first time in five games. Sticker continued to
look good throughout the first half and played some excellent football. However,
the away side did look treating at times, and Sticker saw Kitson, Steve Webb and
Daniel Nancarrow all going close. The
home side made an excellent start and carried on where they left off in the
first half, and in the 48th minute Steve Webb doubled Sticker’s advantage when
he chipped Dobwalls ‘keeper Rob Brown. Sticker didn’t stop there and just
two minutes later, Daniel Nancarrow beat two men before sliding the ball
underneath Brown, for his second goal in two games. Sticker continued to play
good football, however, Gary Warren fouled in the box, in the 55th minute,
Chris Dowrick pulled off a great penalty save from Adie Walton’s penalty.
Dobwalls continued to try and create chances, with Walton and Barrett both going
close, with stand-in centre half Kristian Waters and Phil Dingle both playing as
solid as a rock, it seemed as if Sticker were never going to concede. Sticker
still creating chances on the counter-attack saw an excellent ball from Daniel
Nacarrow finished brilliantly by Steve Webb to score his second of the game,
after 65 minutes. Sticker had further chances through Harvey, Nancarrow, Kitson
and Webb and held strong to pick up a vital clean sheet. Sticker

1-2 Sticker Fred
Binks Supplementary Cup Prem Round Sticker
progressed to the quarter-finals of the supplementary cup with a hard fought
victory over their 8th placed hosts. After performing brilliantly against 3rd
placed Dowballs, Sticker found it hard to play to the same standard as they did
just two days earlier. Sticker started as the better side, however, the home
side came into it in the early changes and seemed to control the game,
nonetheless, they were unable to create many real goal scoring chances; and it
was the away side, quite clearly against the run of play who took the lead, when
an unfortunate pass back which was miss-read by St.Dennis goalkeeper Mike
Barrett and allowed Chris Kitson to chase the ball home, and give Sticker a 25th
minute lead. After a tad of offensive play from the visitors, the home side
again started to control the game, and ten minutes after conceding, a defensive
miss-hap allowed Chris Brown to race clear of the flat defence and shoot past
Chris Dowrick. St.Dennis had further chances to take the lead however Kristian
Waters was back in time to clear Carl Paull’s goal bound header off the line. Both
sides came out into the second half believing that there was a chance of winning
the tie. Sticker, more determined than before, seemed to be creating the better
chances Kevin Brokenshire’s shot and Ray Clarke’s header were both unlucky
not to give the visitors the lead and Sticker’s pressure finally paid off in
the 60th minute when after being picked out by Nancarrow, Chris Kitson broke
free of the St.Dennis defence and rounded Barrett to take his tally to 23 for
the season. Sticker than had to suffer an onslaught on St.Dennis probing
attacks, however, they also always looked like scoring on the counter attack. In
particular Chris Kitson, who missed two guilt, edged chances to complete his
hat-trick. With a combination of free-flowing attacking moves and holding the
ball in the corner, Sticker kept the ball out of harms way for as long as they
could. When it was in St.Dennis half they did seem to be causing trouble and
with a mixture of good defensive work from the likes of Brokenshire, Batt,
Waters, Pascoe, Clarke and Webb and expert goalkeeping of Chris Dowrick, Sticker
held strong and booked their place in the semi-finals of the supplementary cup. Sticker

Binks Supp Cup Quarter-Final Sticker
3-0 St.Cleer Sticker
booked their place in the semi-final of the Fred Binks supplementary cup as they
recorded their fourth straight win, defeating St.Cleer 3-0. The long trip from
St.Cleer, caused a problem from the visitors, but they did manage to get their
full 11 to Burngullow for the kick-off. On
a boggy pitch the match seemed quite open with both sides creating chances,
however it was the home side who took the lead, when in the 10th minute Daniel
Nancarrow’s cross helped back into the area by Kevin Brokenshire was tapped
home by Sticker’s in-form striker Chris Kitson. Throughout the rest of
the first half, both sides played some good football and created chances, but
neither goalkeeper was really forced to pull out a top-class save. Into
the second half and after a quick turnaround, Sticker started off playing some
excellent football and their pressure finally paid of in the 55th minute, when
in a free-flowing move saw Kevin Brokenshire getting in behind the full-back and
pulled it back for Nancarrow who back-healed it on for the in-coming Gareth
Denney who hammered home a well deserved second goal. Sticker still created
chances but were find it hard to grab the illusive third, substitutes Crapp and
Harvey both went close before Sticker made it three, with a little over 10
minutes remaining a Daniel Nancarrow shot was saved and Chris Kitson was in the
right place at the right time to register his 7th goal in the last four games,
and take his tally to 27 goal of the season. Sticker continued to create
chances, however, if they hadn’t taken their foot of the gas, would have had a
good chance of registering a few more goals. Sticker
( St.Cleer
2-1 Sticker St.Cleer
inflicted a first defeat in eight games on visiting Sticker, who had knocked the
home side out of the Supplementary Cup just five days earlier. Although
both sides had first half chances, Daniel Nancarrow and Chris Kitson in
particular for Sticker, neither side failed to take advantage in an extremely
unexciting first half. The
second half started similar to the first however, Saints ‘skipper Lee Collins
who drove past Dowrick, who did get a touch in the 55th minute. Lacklustre
Sticker, tried to up their game and created numerous chances, Kitson saw his
effort hit the post and Phil Dingle had two goal-bound efforts cleared off the
line. Facing man-of-the-match goalkeeper Mike Roberts in goal for St.Cleer, the
visitors failed to grab an equaliser in a second half which saw Rowett’s
troops camped in St.Cleer territory, and it was the home side who doubled their
lead against the run a play when a defensive mix-up allowed Joe Kennedy, with
his first senior goal, double St.Cleer’s advantage, with 15 minutes remaining.
Sticker continued to camp in their opponent’s half, with defenders Phil Dingle
and Kristian Waters joining the attack the saw many chances be saved by Roberts
or go tantalisingly wide. Sticker did find a way back into the match with 7
minutes to go, Chris Kitson tapped home after a Steve Webb square, for his 8th
goal in the last 5 games. Sticker huffed and puffed but somehow couldn’t seize
their equaliser. Sticker
( St.Stephen
0-4 Sticker Sticker
showed their bouncebackability defeating St.Stephen in their final game of the
season. 4-0. Looking to become the top goalscorer in the East Cornwall Premier
League prolific striker Chris Kitson weighed in with all four goals, to take his
tally to 32 for the season and make it 12 goals in the last 6 games. On
a bump pitch Sticker managed to play some good football and dominated the game
throughout, and inevitably it was the visitors who took the lead after just 8
minutes when after a goalkeeping error a gambling Chris Kitson was there for a
simple tap-in. Sticker continued to knock the ball around easily however,
couldn’t find their second goal until 3 minutes before the break when an
excellent run from Steve Webb down the left flank allowed him to square for
Chris Kitson who had the simple task to tapping home for his 30th goal of the
season. Sticker
made an excellent start to the second half when they effectively killed the game
off with two goals in quick succession; the first came 2 minutes into the second
half when a good move involving Lee Harvey, Ray Clarke and Daniel Nancarrow
found Kitson in the right place at the right time who beat Key to complete his
hat-trick. Two minutes later Sticker sealed the rout when a Nancarrow lay-off
allowed Kitson again to hammer his effort home for his 12th goal in the last 6
games. Sticker continued to keep the ball and play good football however, not
being able to find their 5th goal; but, looking solid again at the back. Rowett
also rested Nancarrow and Brokenshire late on in preparation for the big games
against Liskeard on Saturday and Monday. Sticker

in all fairness had the better of the first half play and after Daniel

who managed to create some chances, Liskeard got their opening goal after 23
minutes when full-back Mark Loton scored across Dowrick into the far left hand
corner of Sticker’s goal. On
the hard surface Sticker came out into the second half with more desire than the
first to grab the equaliser and in the 57th minute after being fouled in the
box, Chris Kitson stood up and wrong footed the home keeper from 12 yards out.
It was Sticker’s first penalty of the season, and allowed Kitson to grab his
33rd goal of the season and his 13th goal in the last seven games. Both sides
created further chances, but, with a little less than 10 minutes remaining after
Martin Hake’s header came back off the bar, Carl Nickson was allowed to tap
home the winner. Sticker rallied around looking for the equaliser, which should
give the visitors another reason to attempt to beat Liskeard on Monday. Sticker
